Full Solar Disk images were made by splicing the
Northern & Southern Hemisphere images together. Images were made using a Pentax SLR through a 94mm APO Refractor at f/30 & using Kodak Ektachrome 100VS pushed to 200.
All images shown were enhanced. Images shown taken at the equivalent exposures of
1/125th, 1/60th, 1/30th, 1/15th,
1/8th & at 1/4 of a second. |

| "Magnetic" effect | The spectacular detached Prominence was a visual "center piece" of the Eclipse. | The start of "Third Contact" produced 2 distinct beads next to the large detached Prominence. |

Both North (left) & South (right) Hemispheres
revealed an impressive array of Prominences. Note the swirls and
fragments in the Prominences as well as the Moonscape silhouetted by the
emerging Sun.
