Orion Nebula:  Taken in 1988 through a 94 mm f/6.8 Brandon Refractor at a 12 minute exposure using Kodak T-Max film.   Taken from Pine Mountain Observatory  in Central Oregon.

To guide the 94mm Telescope was attached to the Obseravatory's 24 inch Telescope.  Lynn Carroll, the undisputed master in the use of Duct Tape, assisted me in first wrapping the 94mm in foam rubber using duct  tape of course to secure it of course.  The foam rubber would prevent the 24 inch and 94mm from coming in contact.  It would also prevent the duct tape's adhesive from contacting the 94mm.  We then attached the foam rubbered 94mm to the 24 by Telescope.  It rested between the main Telescope (24 inch )  and the 24's guide scope.  It was secured with duct tape.  The guiding was done using an Illuminated Eyepiece inserted in the 24 inch Telescope.
